Why? They were in my life at a crucial time, or they taught me an incredibly powerful lesson. A few of these people don't even know they've done this for me, and to them the poem “Don't Never Know” is dedicated.<br /><br /><br />Don't Never Know<br />Poem for Day 339 – 20151206<br /><br />You don't never know<br />when you'll reach out<br />and touch another<br />outside your four walls.<br />It won't be the expected<br />by the ones you know best.<br />They may take it for granted<br />that you'll be aid in their quest.<br /><br />Look to the edges<br />the shadows extended<br />that's where you'll impact<br />the ones most grateful.<br />A passing remark<br />the fleeting smile<br />it doesn't take much<br />to impact a life.<br /><br />A soul may be saved<br />confidence restored<br />suffering relieved<br />when you are yourself.<br />A life is thus shared<br />another is touched<br />when humanity is shared<br />by those who know not.<br /><br />© 2015, Sean Green.
