A Strange Dream
Dec. 29th, 2007 11:34 amI had a really odd dream sequence this morning. It began at the end of a sequence in which I was cleaning up a travel trailer. I then spoke to the lady I was reporting to. She received a phone call and things changed. The building behind her morphed into a smaller shape. The cars and other buildings also changed. I sensed something was very wrong and began to chase the woman across the street and into a shopping center parking lot. The chase continued, ending when she entered a building and turned toward me. I reached her just as pulled out her phone. We touched, and the scene shifted again. The woman was now younger. It was evident that we had been shifting through time, and I was very nearly stranded in the previous time. I asked for an explanation and a return to my own time. She said she was sorry, and I was a friend, but I was only a distant friend. I thought I was stuck some decades beyond the time I knew. She relented, and we once again shifted to what I supposed to be the present time. The dream sequence pretty much ended here.
I found this to be a notable dream sequence because I have no idea where the elements came from. Does it have a meaning beyond a play on a sci-fi theme? Will a woman, or somebody with a feminine nature, transport me "back into time" against my will? Will I only be able to retain my connection with my time by ardently pursuing her? I don't know, but this is more interesting than cleaning up travel trailers or being chased by monsters.

1. Cleaning/cleansing (the travel trailer)
2. The woman
3. The pursuit of the woman
4. Travelling through time
What do these have to do with recent events that have transpired in your life, if anything? Are they relevant to any given situations? If so, perhaps your answers can be found through simple self-analysis of the situation at hand and comparing it with the dream you've had.

Date: 2007-12-29 07:44 pm (UTC)It's tricky learning how to do this with intent and awareness because the environment is mutually manufactured, sort of by unconscious invocation and/but then translated through the metaphor of each person's dream-language. The more consciousness and intentional, the less it actually happens because the personal metaphor language trumps the other.
Tell yourself a story about this and see if you find you know more than you think

maybe it's time for a dream-catcher

Off to a Great New Year 2008 everybody !
Re: actually --it could be good stuff for a book
Date: 2007-12-31 12:02 pm (UTC)I perceive some books as experiences of the dreamscape passed through the lens of a specific psyche and then distilled into the structure of a narrative. It's hard for most folks to keep it real - if that's an appropriate term with the dreamscape - since once you hit that and start writing, if you have the gift most often the Group Mind intrudes. Still, since to be effective it has to be a translation, that's a good thing.
In Xanadu did Kubla Khan/A stately pleasure-dome decree:/Where Alph, the sacred river, ran/Through caverns measureless to man/Down to a sunless sea
It seems easier to keep it clear/keep it clean in a piece of visual art, but of course, without the ritual element of narrative, harder for most folk to understand, even as they respond to it.
while I'm asking questions of other people
Date: 2007-12-31 12:46 pm (UTC)do you have any thought/guidance on the difference between a Watcher and a Witness from a metaphysical/etheric perspective? It keeps cycling back around as an issue for about the last 10 day.
Re: while I'm asking questions of other people
Date: 2008-01-01 04:09 pm (UTC)My observer is part Watcher and part Witness. When I read the word "Watcher" I am reminded of Highlander. There was a group of humans who would record the events of the immortals and never seek to change outcomes in the process. A witness is different. A witness sees an event and then testifies about it to another person or group of people, such as a witness in a trial.
I would think that it would be good to have a watcher, but a witness would be more practical in the big scheme of things. Now, it occurs to me that you may be talking about entities external to people. Much of the spirit/etheric world are watchers. They observe our actions, trials, tribulations and triumphs. Only a handful of beings are in the witness category, if the definition of a witness is to report/inform after an event.
Re: while I'm asking questions of other people
Date: 2008-01-01 05:23 pm (UTC)It's related to the internal watcher/witness but also to external spirits. Not nephilim but it quacks like the Watchers from wiccan tradition and it walks like grigori. Watchers from Highlander and Jehovah's witness also apply . . . somehow . . but I'm JUST NOT GETTING IT. It's like a recurring dream that keeps coming while I'm wide awake.
I think it may be tied to the time/date and will probably clear on it's own whether or not I can tune in any understanding.
Thanks for your help.

Date: 2008-01-01 05:31 pm (UTC)Significantly the Sun now sits at one or other of these gateways at the solstices. By a process of analogy: "As Above, so Below", this indicates that it is now that these "stargates" are opening. Adrian Gilbert http://www.adriangilbert.co.uk/docus/books/signs.html
Earth remains in the midst of a rare 144 year Galactic Alignment that happens about every 26,000 years. The main focus of this alignment will last at least 62 more years, perhaps longer. 2008 also marks three crossings of Pluto over the December Solstice marker (a once in 248 year occurrence) Pluto acts as a key that further unlocks this portal for an even deeper more powerful transformative experience. Plus, we are counting down four more years to 2012. The exact date of Dec 21, 2012 may not be any more or less significant than the next 4 years but with all the power of intention and attention focused on 2012 there is certainly a noticeable paradigm shift already underway that may very well culminate in 2012.
More than ever it seems important to be informed and aware of what is going on behind the scenes so we can make informed conscious choices as we engage and navigate these times. In 2008 that just so happens to include a presidential election year in the United States.
That is why I am urging everyone (even if you have already seen this) to check out the movie Zeitgeist as a way to begin investigating what has been hidden and repressed. (This movie is free on the internet at this URL http://zeitgeistmovie.com/index.html or you can buy it for around $5)
And there is a new novel Infinity's Flower A Tale of 2012 and the Great Shift of the Ages, by Jack Allis, an intriguing and compelling read about these issues. Plus, Jack references the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School in both the introduction and in the story.
With Jupiter’s recent move, and Pluto’s upcoming move, into Capricorn and Saturn’s recent move into Virgo we are being asked to look closely at what is working or not working in this middle world reality and to make informed choices in choosing new structures that will benefit all sentient life as well as our beloved Earth.
Along the same lines, The Story of Stuff, is another 20 minute reminder of why it is important to take responsibility for our choices and the resources we are consuming on a daily basis. http://www.storyofstuff.com
This is a time of great change and we have many seemingly new forms of energy now available to help with this transition. Deeksha is one of those powerful blessings of energy available to us now. http://www.deeksha.com Sri Bhagavan founder, along with his wife Amma, of the Oneness Movement here to spread Deeksha reminds us of the essence of Peace.
