Poem - Callipygian
Jan. 27th, 2015 05:18 amA friend mentioned callipygian figures some time ago. I stored the idea away in my “future poetry” file. I believe it is time to unveil the result of rear facing inspiration!
Callipygian
Poem for Day 027 - 20150127
An ode to the callipygian figure
buttocks proportioned just so,
a lovely posterior on display,
the fundament of my desire.
Forget not the waist and legs,
shapely racking the behind,
and what a derriere it is,
a tooshie to which none compare.
Aphrodite was the first
to flash her cheeks for the world.
Her face looks over shoulder,
but that's not what I observe!
Are you are so callipygous,
or should I say bootylicious?
Flaunt those buttocks,
bring on the rumpalicous.
So ends my ode to the rear,
be the hip covered or not,
it is all beauty to me,
callipygian figure in poetry.
