Two people close to me passed away recently. The poem “Life Beyond” reflects life and the connections made.


Life Beyond

Life beyond value
outside of yourself
in the hands of others
more than you expect

life may be tough
more than you want
the joy that you spread
is the measure of worth

interest accrued
beyond what you see
the ease that you bring
is more than the pain

the web is so thin
flung beyond the eye
life beyond value
spun outside of yourself.
