One of the reasons the Religious Right is so effective is that, as a group, they have set aside their philosophical differences and have become sort of a unified front. I think one of the saddest things in spiritual awakening today is the inability, or unwillingness, for those on a spiritual path to find common ground. The energy we expend to maintain our differences and separateness is adding to the already polluted energy of the planet. f we are truly serious about Path and about healing the planet, we will not get lulled into who's fluff and who isn't etc.
If we are about healing and spiritual awakening, we really need to start accepting one another in whatever way we are striving to advance that awakening. If we can transform our energy into a direction of one-ness, I think these little differences and ego-trips will fade out of the picture. It is our focus on our own inner work that will make the difference in a positive way.
