Abandoned Business Buildings on HWY 221

I took a drive today on South Carolina State Highway 221 between the towns of Laurens (where I live) and Woodruff.  There are some incredible buildings that are ghostly echoes of past commercial uses.  This photo spread shares some structures that I saw. Click on a picture to see more.

I love old buildings too. I have to admit that I am more drawn to the slightly darker side of old buildings...
