kokopelleThe Christian faith puts a lot of emphasis on the authority of God/Bible. Indigenous spiritual groups put a lot of emphasis on tribal authority.
What is the rightful place of either individual authority or group authority? Where does the authority of a group end? These are questions I am asking myself.

Answering my own question: the rightfulness of authority is related to the relationship between the parties. A lack of relationship dissolves the authority of the party, even if they wish it were not so. I feel better with this answer, and will write more about it another time.
