Do you look forward to dreaming when you sleep? If so, what is the attraction that dreams have for you? If dreaming is unpleasant, would you prefer to change how you dream or would you instead not dream at all?

I personally look forward to my dreams. They may be tense and combative, but I usually prevail. In dreams I have many more friends/acquaintances immediately around me than I do in waking life. There are familiar places in my dreamland. There are very few repeating people, and those people who do appear multiple times are known to me in the waking world.

Dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask. ~X-Files

I love dreaming; I always dream in full color and sensation, and only rarely have a nightmare (usually when there's something I've been ignoring that needs to be dealt with).

How could I resist a question like this one? ;)

I like dreaming more than I like being awake- mainly because I don't have all the icky constant pain and rampant health issues that I have when I'm awake. My dreams are very often in full five-senses Technicolor, surround-sound, as close to reality as...well reality. Best part is, I've never had a dream yet where I have to pay taxes or worry about bills either.

...

That's a loaded question.

My dreams are lives I live when not awake in this one. I am definitely awake in my dreams, as I can control what I do.

As tiring as some of those lives leave me in the morning, I wouldn't trade it. In many cases, I know I am helping others. Maybe even helping myself.

I had horrific nightmares most of my life that stopped a few years back.

Now I love to dream at night!
