I finally found one of the rare Garth Marenghi books online. The acclaimed website Good Reads has a listing for Garth's first book (1974) Slicer. The links to Amazon, Abebooks and Half.com don't pull up any available copies. Fortunately the site had a teaser quote from Slicer that I would like to share with you:
"He whisked off her shoes and panties in one movement, wild like an enraged shark. His bulky totem beating a seductive rhythm. Mary's body felt like it was burning, even though the room was properly air-conditioned. They tried all the positions - on top, doggy, and normal.

Exhausted they collapsed onto the recently extended sofa-bed. Then a hell beast ate them."

This may be why his books are hard to find? (Deleted & recommented with fixed link HTML)

Because Garth's writing is so raw and dark, cutting, bleeding, gushing edge? Probably. Who would have expected a hell beast to attack after all doing all positions, including normal? I can't get enough!
