Musical Memories

Tonight I am listening to a collection of music by Simon and Garfunkel. I have very powerful reactions to all of these 'classics', and I am left wondering if it is the the quality of the songs or the depth of my experiences connected with the songs... or both. Would a person of later generations (to me) listen to the music and feel little or nothing? I wonder... very interesting...
