Two Lives

I spent the evening sorting out things in the basement. There is a real contrast between my basement and upstairs. The upstairs is bare enough and looks like a "normal" house. The basement is a pile-o-stuff that resembles part computer junk store and bookstore. Looking around, if I never bought another book, piece of software, or computer part again, I would never lack of something to do. These material type things share my life with my programming pursuits. The programming is very cerebral. I have computer equipment ready for support/anticipation of "neat" programming projects. What I lack is time, time and a bit more time. Such a challenge...

B-movie props are the few things I don't have. I do have some antique child manniquens. Wulfwalker finds them a bit creepy.

That's the story of my old house. I had 940 sqft to fit in all of my treasures and me. Now I have a 1500sqft basement to arrange in anyway I want for the storage of treasures. Having the basement was one the things that drew me to my current house. In an even more perfect world I would probably live in a very large warehouse living area.
