I am feeling a little split between wanting to be noticed and not wanting to be noticed. I believe the wanting is healthier, so I am taking steps in Deviantart to be a community person. Still, I'm not sure what my "motivation" is, and if understanding even matters. Shoot, this might be some biological thing. Oh well...

Best of luck with getting the notice, I only hope it's for the recognition you deserve as an artist and photographer, rather than the unwanted (and often perverse) requests of some of those who give the definition of deviancy a real run for it's money.

(Btw, you might find me on there as "Sedahr", but it's been a while since I put anything up due to getting the wrong kind of notice.)

So far the noticing has been positive. The wolf-dog pics are incredibly cute and get a lot of notice. I am also trying some of my more "artsy" pics with mixed results, but such is the way with artsy pics.

I'm curious... what do you mean by "give the definition of deviancy a real run for it's money"? Am I (fortunately) missing out on a common underbelly of DA?

Yes, there's a pretty... sordid... group on DA that have a tendency to get rather pushy about what they want commissioned, shown or done. Unfortunately, I had ended up friended by one person there who was on the fringe of that group, and because this person was claiming some of my pieces as "favorites" it was bringing more of these people out of the woodwork. This is why I dropped off of posting things as regularly as I had been.

I guess I had either forgotten, or not noticed, when you and I became friends on there. Sorry about that. 6.6
