kokopelleThe really ironic thing is that as much as I enjoy photographing others, I really don't like to be photographed myself. Why? Because I look so fat in the pics and everyone else looks so thin. This is not 100% reality. While I used to be at a 42 waist on my pants, I am now at 38. I've stabilized there and plan to hold steady at the 38 inches. My reduction last year allowed me to pull out pants that I had stashed for several years. Anyway, back to what I was saying. So I don't like pics of myself. My mental picture of myself is a thinner and younger person. This is what we call normal, but I take it a bit further by judging myself more harshly than I do those wonderful people I photograph. What does this make me? Normal also I think...
