A little man on a ladder
stands inside my head.
He has a megaphone in his hand
waiting to exclaim.
And he'll tell my secrets,
before I shut him up.
I met that man once at a workshop
so many years ago.
I could not allow his speech,
my privacy exposed.
My anger rose and I saw red,
the intrusion was too much.
I was told that he would climb that ladder.
I was told that he would shout to all.
That man stands before you now,
saying way too much.
