Dreams are strange things. They spin scenarios that don’t take place in waking life. Such was the case with “A Drink”.


A Drink
Poem for Day 031 - 20150131

You offered me a drink,
it was unexpected
Did you mean me?

I’m not used to such attention
given so freely
from the opposite sex.

A mixed drink for me,
with liquor and soda.
Something new for me to drink!

So you offered me a drink,
let’s see where this goes
in dreamscapes of the mind.
