Why I Blog

I want to thank everyone for their great answers to the question, "why do you blog"? It is time to share the reason that I blog. The act of blogging serves several of my needs. The first is to provide a repository for lines of thought that I have. In this mode I am pretty much writing for myself. The act of writing down these thoughts allows me to better organize them. The second reason I blog is for the wonderful feedback I receive. Any and all feedback is very much valued and appreciated. The last reason, and probably most selfish, is the feeding of my "teacher" archetype via the blogging method. I would love to teach classes more, but that is not my lot in life at this time. Sharing my thoughts here allows to me to come from somebody picking up a bit of something new.

I think getting feedback is a big motivation for a lot of us. I mean, I don't think you learn much always talking to yourself.
