Your Magic of Dance
Bonus Poem for Day 051 – 20150221
How could you be so beautiful,
the only one I look to tonight?
only one answer, it is because
you embrace the magic of dance.
Dance is the poetry of your life,
movement conveyed to a work of art,
I'd put you on a high pedestal,
but no, please stay in my arms instead.
The portrait of your true self,
dogma and conventions put aside,
dance reveals the passion you have
your expression of love and life.
I'd kiss you, but that is not appropriate
let's dance instead, separate by ourselves
with movement as the bridge of two lives
lived apart but for the magic of dance.
So let's continue to dance, you and me,
inspire the world, bring truth to life,
show why we are here, you and me,
as we dance together this blessed night.
