Elizabeth Herrera is quoted as saying “We are all divine spirits, helping others on conscious and unconscious levels”. The poem “Met a Goddess” is about the realization of both levels.


Met a Goddess
Poem for Day 151 – 20150531

I once met a goddess
beauty defined
fleet of foot
quick of smile.

We would dance
almost flirt
if this could be
with divinity.

Proximity is bliss
one a mortal
and the other
an enchantress.

Worthy of worship
I knelt to pray
homage by the one
here at her feet.

Wanting her to see
sublimation
adoration
by this one.
