Poem - Than a Dance

Some days are good, others not so much as tiredness and pain intrude.

Than a Dance

There was
that one time
when the scream
was silent
and the joy
was present
with
no dread
or the fear
or dread of fear
or fear of dreading fear
perhaps if I was gone
there would be a chance
it would last longer
than a dance.
