Journey to Ixtlan

Sometimes I am inspired with poetic topics when I review the posting of the Tumblr folks I follow. Sure enough, a meme had the words “Meet me in the dream”. This inspired me to explore meetings.


Meet Me

Meet me in the dream
second door from the left
down the lane of lights
beneath the bright stars.

Meet me through the chord
harmony of notes
three combined as one
two in unison.

Meet me sing a song
chorus send skyward
on angel wings soar
words that share a heart.

Meet me with a kiss
strangers once a time
with this remedy
soul mates once removed.

Meet me at the door
others may dance with
during a night time
still we'll go home.

Meet me in this poem
between start and end
too much is shared
with too little is said.
