Journey to Ixtlan

I don't understand businesses sometimes. We got a credit card statement our Pickens address for my ex-wife. She has never lived her, and as my lovely wife says, will never do so. This is a statement for goodness sake. My wife called the company and asked how it ended up with this address. The company said that it was done by "the credit agency". My wife tried to nudged he company, the one that issued the credit card and would probably like their money for charges, to change my ex-wife's mailing address. My wife was told that WE would have to contact "the credit agency" and ask for an address change. EH??? The company that issued the card, and collects payments on charges, aren't in control of their customer's accounts? Wow... very very strange.
