Poem - Cypher

Cypher
Worlds I've walked in the veil,
many lives beyond waking norm,
deep in the bytes of console's hold
games are portal to another one.
I'll share with you how I act,
it may surprise, it's my free time.
Joystick bless me with preference
of dame's strength in the ether.
Sometimes male, mostly not,
gender's fluid, it is my choice,
no need to hold to convention's path
when alternatives are close at hand.
Cypher is my name in those
red hair flashing with green eyes.
My length of hair matters not
when female gender is select.
I am a rogue, mostly pure,
not a brawler, death from afar,
on death's wings the bullets fly
to smite my foes through the scope.
Stealth is my strength as I stalk
my foes blind to beauty's face.
To strut would be fun to do,
but this is not my nature's due.
This has been my fae story,
curtain pulled back on game play.
I've lost count of the times
that womanlike was my choice.
Time well spent in the veil,
achievements piled on top of each,
if you find me in that place
greet Cypher and be my friend.
