Journey to Ixtlan

I believe that we are often blind to our own weaknesses. I also believe that we are also blind to some of our greatest strengths, and perhaps they are strengths because of this. Two people I really respect, one being my lovely wife, have told me that they see me as a very strong. They don't mean physical strength. Instead they mean something about character. I apparently impress them with my steadfastness, steadiness, or something like that. Truthfully, I don't see it. I instead see myself as one of the most messed up people I know. Here's the rub... that is probably a good thing. I suspect that humility is the shadow of strength. Just a hunch here mind you!
