It is 74 degrees here in South Carolina while a bitter ice storm wracks the middle of the nation, from Texas to all points north. It will cool down to mid 50s in the days and high 30s at night this weekend. Sometimes it is a good thing to live on one side of the Rockies!

We had a small break in the close to 100 degree weather during the past week. All this sweltering weather has me thinking about the last snow we had in January...
