Jul. 28th, 2007 04:10 pmI believe that I am in incredible danger. There is every sign that I am in my final hours now. What can I do? Nothing... it is too late.
I slept last night with two cats in my bed. This is not unusual. I have one or two of the furry children joining me in my peaceful slumber most every night. Today I learn that my delightful repose with felines comes with an incredible risk.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Oscar the cat seems to have an uncanny knack for predicting when nursing home patients are going to die, by curling up next to them during their final hours.
His accuracy, observed in 25 cases, has led the staff to call family members once he has chosen someone. It usually means they have less than four hours to live.
